On Monday I met up with two of my college roommates from 221 Norton for lunch at Cafe Latte. It was so great to see the both of them and catch up with each other's lives. Sara lives out in Colorado now (of course she was in MN while I was out in CO:) She and her husband Jon are both in grad school at the moment and keeping busy with life. I think Sara runs another race every weekend and she kicks butt at them! Margaret is in med school but also in grad school - she's a smart cookie. And we live super close to each other so I hope that means I'll be seeing more of her. Since she wasn't able to make it to our wedding because she was doing amazing things in Uganda, she was thoughtful enough to brings us back a pretty sweet gift all the way from Africa!
I have been extremely lucky in the friends I've made throughout my life. Even though it has been many, many months since the last time we saw each other, it's always easy to pick up right were we left off. I have to say I have some of the greatest friends a girl could ask for.
In other news, Joe and I are headed up north tonight for our Christmas weekend with my siblings. With everyone's busy schedules during the holiday season we usually wait a couple weekends before we get together to celebrate. And this year, it's going to be crazy, chaotic, awesome fun. Everyone is arriving Friday and staying until Sunday (usually we are all together for just one night) and with the boys a little older things could get a little crazy. But good crazy. I love it when my big family is all under one roof. Can't wait!!
